A name that was thrown out there for some possible bullpen help for the Brewers. Doesn't seem like it cost too much considering Arizona has control of him for three years if they pick up his option in the last year. Makes Arizona despite their horrible record a tough team come playoff time, especially with the top part of their rotation.

Too bad

It seems like the Brewers could have gave up something better than that guy to bring in some much needed relief help. As much talk as Street and Sherrill have gotten, it seems like this guy has pitched the best of the three.

Yeah, wow

If Bonifacio got the deal done, I would think Gwynn would’ve as well. I don’t think Rauch would’ve been a difference-maker this year, but he’d improve the team more than Durham will, and those extra years of control would’ve made me happy.

Also, cheese.

I think the Nats

learned their lesson after holding on to Cordero last year.
