Is this?
The most clutch hit of Braun’s career? I submit that it is.
Absolutely!
It’s never mattered as much as sweeping this series.

Braun kinda Cadillaced his 9th inning HR – plus they untuck their shirts. But they lost four straight, that’s the real reason.
Ooooooo...
That was a clutch Clutch reference.
I think they do not like how Hall and Braun admired their home runs
And they have some silly issue with the Brewers untucking their shirts after a win
If Loving CC is wrong I do not want to be right

however i would expect TLR JR to bean the shit out of your guys next time
I'm sure he learned his lesson last year

Oh look.
It’s a Cubs minor league manager who started the brawl by shoving the opposing manager.
shocking.

are any of these guys going to meet in the majors?
cubs and reds affiliates as i recall… i love the dayton dragons… saw a game in dayton… love the city and the team
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
Zach Cozart, the guy who was hit in the head with a pitch and had to leave the game, is a pretty good prospect
2nd-round pick, 22-year-old SS hitting .276/.334/.474 at Class A. He played there last year too, though, so his performance should be discounted a little, and he’s a little old for the league.
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
all right
i came here to see what you guys were saying out of curiousity and found something i had said so i said something to defend it and got too deep.
my bad.

Which is why you should only cruise the opponent's fanblogs after a win instead of a loss.
Cowardly? Maybe. But it’s a lot easier to keep from wading into their discussions when you’re not so angry you can’t see straight.
But no one’s blaming you for being in a lousy mood given the last 4 days. We’ve all been there.

Watching highlights on baseball tonight...
Marmol pitched 1+ innings and appears to have thrown about 40 pitches again. Is Lou worried at all about burning him out before September?

38 pitches
And Wood is now officially on the DL

Is Lou worried? Obviously not.
Everyone else…haha. Marmol threw 38 pitches.

Showalter said he wasn't going to comment on Braun, but the second time they showed it he slipped out a "Run it out, young man."
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
i heard that too lol

Alcides Escobar apparently injured his finger
on a play at the plate. I did email the stars box score guy, he hasn’t gotten back to me yet (as I wouldn’t expect him to). He didn’t play in game 2 of a doubleheader. No further news at this point.
And neck size to baby eating ratio.
You should fanshot it
Nobody’s going to want to wade back into this mess tomorrow (I hope)
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
Need help on something
Why does the Brewers’ site have the Braun HR highlight from the STL broadcast?
I am pro-Cameron
If each team has a broadcast that night, mlb.tv seems to use the home one
They never show both.

While all the Braun-love is going around...
How about some appreciation for Torres? He struck out the side against some tough hitters, after probably not expecting to come in. I’m ecstatic about Braun’s homer, but Salomon Torres should share some of the glory. What a performance.
