Latest SI ranking has Brewers #3
Yes, it's only July, and they're just "Power Rankings," but it's still good to see the Crew getting their due.
'Course, the Halos are #1.

With all the talk about Bill Hall, it seems it didn’t include last night’s game, because they probably would have mentioned 3/4 9th inning wins, even though it was released today, the guy’s deadline was probably before the games were over.
I like the recognition, but don’t think the Crew should be ahead of the Cubs until we pass them, granted we are hotter, it hopefully is just a matter of time, but the Cubs have proven they are a great team, with Soriano just coming back, it should give them a boost.
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.

I don't think it accounts for standings
You don’t think the Brewers are a better team than the Cubs at this point?
Ryan Braun: He loves it.

it accounts for standings...
...but takes into account trends more. As in a team reeling off 10 victories in a row, even if they’re in last place, will tend to be placed in the upper half of power rankings.
