Mike Jones

Glad to see he had a relatively good game.
Interestingly, I found this article in 2001 on Jones and the Brewers draft:
http://www2.jsonline.com/sports/brew/jun01/draft06060501.asp

“Had Jones been selected ahead of them, the Brewers were prepared to draft Casey Kotchman, a high school first baseman from Seminole (Fla.). Because Kotchman’s father manages in Anaheim’s farm system, the Angels wanted him badly and were able to grab him in the 13th spot.

“We liked (Kotchman) a lot; there’s no question,” said Zduriencik.”

Gamel's homer was off last year's #1 overall pick, David Price

Nice way to break your home run drought.

BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
