I’ve never heard of Huntsville pitcher Dave Johnson, but he threw four, 1 hit innings tonight. Caleb Gindl had a triple and 2 hits and Eric Fryer had 2 hits it well for WV. 2 1/3, 1 hit, 2 K, 1 BB for Frederickson- encouraging line from him in relief tonight. Rob Wooten got the save, we could probably see him in the majors next year if he moves quickly. 3 innings, 1 hit, 1 run for Cody Adams at Helena, nice line for him.

Wooten has mostly thrown fastball/breaking ball, but he doesn’t throw all that hard- 89-91 usually. I’m sure the Brewers are working on a change with him right now at WV.
