Apparently Daron Sutton said something was in the works and would be completed "very, very soon". Interesting.

But...

I don’t think we really want Randy Johnson.

Now, Brandon Webb…

That would be tough

We’d have to unload some serious prospects.

Hmmm....

I can’t really imagine who it would be. They need an outfielder with byrnes back on the DL, but who would we want that would actually be attainable? They wouldn’t trade haren or webb, I hope it’s not Doug Davis…we’d be back to watching vargas-length games. I’d like to see juan cruz in our bullpen, always liked his arm and they are deep in the ‘pen.

Or they could keep Jackson in the OF

Keep Tracy at 1B and pick up a 3B. Bill Hall for bullpen help? I just don’t see Hall helping them that much though.

Don't try to do too much with it. Just take the ball the other way.

unless they think Hall just needs a change of scenery, perhaps.

Maybe Kapler + Nelson for Cruz or something like that?

After all the chasing Melvin did after Kapler

I doubt he trades him.

Maybe it'll be something minor and boring

Like Laynce Nix for Brandon Medders.

Brian Anderson for Daron Sutton and a reliever
