Jesus Tapdancing Christ, that was awful. Timmeh! is our only hope for salvaging the day.

After a loss like that, you have to bring out the big guns
A Cardinals loss is intellectually appreciable (appreciatable?), but not nearly satisfying enough to wallpaper over the gaping hole in my soul right now.
He's extremely quick and good.

On the brighter side
There have been some nice comebacks in the past couple seasons, too.
Today sucked. Beat ‘em tomorrow though.

Gah
that suckified. I was semi-conscious of the game all along. I thought the game was in the bag. But then none of our relievers can get a damned out in the 9th?
When will Mota not be used anymore?

Cubs come back to 4-3
And Marmol gives up a three run homer on three pitches to Aurelia. Some of the language that was used a couple/few days ago when he coughed up a homer sounded a lot like the Turnbow talk last year. The Turnbow meter has now gone red.

Nice
At least it looks like the Crew won’t lose any ground after the tough loss. Cards losing big, and the Cubs lost. Hopefully Sheets gets the club back in the W column tomorrow afternoon.

Timmy saves the
day, again. Tiny Tim for Cy Young! If he wasn’t already my favorite player in baseball before tonight, he certainly is now. Why not make him an honorary Brewer? Heck, why not just trade for him? I’m fairly certain he’d be worth it, though I can’t see Giants management parting with him. Honoary it is,

when he beats us the first game after the all start break.

Can’t really go wrong in loving Tim Lincecum. I love him and the rest of the Giants fans love him too.
I decided to come out of hiding and post here more. I came over here for the series earlier in the year to comment and say hi, but I was being silly more than providing real baseball analysis. I realized I can’t really call myself an honorary Brewers fan if I don’t know much about their farm system. Minor league baseball is my forte after all.
So I throw myself upon your mercy and ask you take this Giants fan in as she has much to learn.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.
