whoohoo!

i’m going to watch me some brewer games:

MLB.com has just announced this offer for those who vote in this now time-honored process:

• If you are not a current MLB.TV subscriber (MLB.TV or MLB.TV Premium), then you are eligible to receive a one week free trial of MLB.TV Premium from July 11-18. That will amount to five full days of the regular season. A valid e-mail address is required for the offer. ====
of course, I think that coincides with the San Francisco series. Can I choose another week, please?;)

by PagsBrewCrew on Jul 7, 2008 7:06 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

oooh, oooh..

is CC projected to pitch the Giants series? I suppose that won’t be known until right before (or right after) the ASB.
I’ve already seen Sheets and Santana match up. It’d be fun to see another Cy Young past or future.

by PagsBrewCrew on Jul 7, 2008 7:08 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

supposedly

he’s going to start both the last game before the ASB (the 13th) as well as the first one afterwards (18th), assuming they don’t end up moving away from the latter idea until then. So you might have two CC starts in that week.

by Zeyes on Jul 7, 2008 7:13 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

isn't that the series with the complete Saturday blackout?

I’ve noticed that whenever I wanted to see Tim Lincecum pitch, the games would be blacked out. Ugh, West Coast starts and the stupid FOX monopoly.

Greetings from the Windy City!

Hello Brewers fans! I have a question that I haven’t been able to find the answer to.

LaPorta was drafted by the Brewers in the June 2007 draft but I don’t think he signed until August. As far as I understood, teams could not trade players for one year. Is that one year from when they draft a player or sign a player?

Thanks and congrats on getting CC.

Hey, it's a new century!

hmmm

I predict, Chicago in an attempt to f*ck with us after this season (because we will destroy them this season) will
a) get bought out by Cuban
b) Cuban will hire Jack Z. as GM for the cubs
c) we won’t get compensatory pick goodness from Sheets or Sabathia.

the lament of the television-unequipped

I can tell McClung is walking people. The question I can’t answer is why. Is he back to trying to blow things by everyone? Is his fastball slow? (the ‘dead arm’ excuse) Is his curveball off? Or is his mind floating off somewhere that isn’t the pitcher’s mound at Miller Park?

oh yeah

3 players made a circle around the ball and no one went for it

by molitorfan on Jul 7, 2008 9:33 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Braun

better get it done with the way Prince has been (not) hitting

The Wallbangers won because they played the game like kids! Let's do that again!!!

by 80badger on Jul 7, 2008 9:34 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I would still

rather have prince up with the game on the line than any other player on the team.

by Rawiswar on Jul 7, 2008 9:35 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Prince

has been hitting okay with runners on 3rd

sample size – get it

zat

braun’s second DP of the game?

by PagsBrewCrew on Jul 7, 2008 9:36 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

second one

was a bad bounce off the mound

by molitorfan on Jul 7, 2008 9:38 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

he may have had a hit if the ball didn’t hit the pitcher’s mound and bounce up

by ol Pete on Jul 7, 2008 9:38 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

should have

been able to let it out then?

by PagsBrewCrew on Jul 7, 2008 9:41 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

damn

rally killer.
pitcher change with 2 outs, bases cleared
if it had been inside-the-park, the opposing manager would have been laughing too hard to pull the pitcher.

by PagsBrewCrew on Jul 7, 2008 9:39 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Anyone who saw

In play, run(s)

must have felt a bit of a let down

And neck size to baby eating ratio.

If Branyan hits a HR...

I will stand naked on my deck in this thunderstorm.

He's extremely quick and good.

by ol Pete on Jul 7, 2008 9:48 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Parra can pitch another inning now

by PagsBrewCrew on Jul 7, 2008 9:47 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Ned disagrees with you....

He would rather waste an appearance by Torres for no reason whatsoever.

dude, I can’t believe how distressed the bleed cubbie bleed fans were over your avatar. I never knew what it was, but after they proclaimed it was “incendiary” and other nonsense I had to look at your profile.

by ol Pete on Jul 7, 2008 9:57 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Who knew that a drawing could bring out such a reaction

What’s ironic is that a regular poster on their site has the exact same avatar. So they’ve obviously seen it before.
