FYI

I thought I would be a good Brewer fan and throw some votes Corey’s way. Turns out, at this moment, the numbers don’t need to be typed in to vote for Corey. I took advantage of the glitch and had about 250 votes in 5 minutes.
My eyes are on fire and Im pretty sure I was in some kind of weird trance like state, but CC will make all things better in about 2 hours.

by brewfan2 on Jul 8, 2008 5:14 PM CDT   0 recs

I got excited when you mentioned the no numbers thing

Too bad it was fixed by the time I got there. I still threw him 30 or so more vote, though. Got me to thinking, if I was Corey I would get pay some neighborhood kids like 8 bucks an hour for like a day to just sit there and vote. I would think a couple hundred dollars would be a minor inconvenience in order to get invited to the all-star game.

It still works

You have to click on the area where the numbers would go and press enter instead of clicking on “vote now”.

by brewfan2 on Jul 8, 2008 5:30 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Isn’t working on my end. Looks like you will have to take care of all the speed voting.

by telling us this, you’re wasting time you should be spending voting!

Damn You

Jeff and your crazy eastern time zone:) I was all confused about why they bumped the start time back… I thought maybe it was to try and make sure the game is sell-out or something, but no, Jeff just had to go all coastie on us.

"He's been very, very impressive," Yost said. "I mean really impressive. I mean really, really impressive."

by MadJimiBrewha on Jul 8, 2008 5:31 PM CDT   0 recs

The game is sold out

Only SRO tickets left. It’s going to be electric.

by brewfan2 on Jul 8, 2008 5:32 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

yeah

bk fixed it.

I am totally fried—i basically worked 20 hours straight yesterday, slept for three hours, and have been working 10 hours straight today.

Also, cheese.

by Jeff Sackmann on Jul 8, 2008 5:34 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

No worries

Just thought I would get a little shot in before the “Heil Sackmann!” chants start flowing.

Sounds like a rough week so far, hopefully you get a little break to take in the new big man.

can we say

eeeek

followed by

argh?

Broken hands and then trying to put it over the fence?
and lets hope harden’s shoulder gives out before the NLCS, otherwise…
The reg. season doesn’t matter too much, as long as we win enough to clearly get that wildcard slot.

Anyway, you should fanshot that.

He's extremely quick and good.

that stinks

that derby is an injury risk and can mess up a player’s swing for a couple of weeks after

by molitorfan on Jul 8, 2008 6:35 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I just got word

Seth Lintz is finally signed.

He's extremely quick and good.

Or is this where you got word?

by jihad on Jul 8, 2008 6:55 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Ummm...

I don’t think Al from evil BCB is quite right on this one:

Sabathia replaced not Seth McClung or Dave Bush in the Brewers’ rotation, but Jeff Suppan, who was placed on the 15-day DL yesterday with an elbow problem. This makes the marginal impact Sabathia will have on the Brewers’ rotation smaller. At least, that’s how I see it.

I foresee an estimation that Rich Harden will improve the Cubs by +6.02×10^23 wins.

And neck size to baby eating ratio.

Hey, I'm sick of talking about baseball all the time

Welp

I guess I’ll go vote for Corky a few hundred more times.

Kept the application open all day at work. My total AS votes this year are probably 1000+. No lie.

Nice
6:27: CC Sabathia appeared out of the dugout with Jason Kendall and the two headed to the outfield to stretch and jog.

6:27.5: A group of four women raced from their second-level seats behind home plate with camera’s in hand, presumably to snap shots of Sabathia, who was going out to left-center field. That’s a hike for any fan.

Dear Mr. Sabean, I hear you have a reputation of being stupid. Want to deal Lincecum or Cain? You can pick THREE of these 4 players for either: Borowski, Dellucci, Blake, Byrd.
