So...

could you say that it didn’t last long, and that he didn’t have to work hard … you know, it was over easy?

Also, cheese.

I don't understand

I didn’t think you could flag a comment for wittiness.

Also, cheese.

I was glad to catch that game in my idle scanning of box scores tonight. There’s not much going on for the AZL Giants team outside of some mid-round and lower-round picks from this year’s draft. What can you guys tell me about Odorizzi? I’m sure to see (well, read, I’m stuck far away from these teams) a lot of him this season, and if he ends up in the SAL next year with West Virginia. I say if because reading about his skills makes it sound like he’s gonna be fast tracked like whoa.

A minority of scouts thought he was the best prep arm in the draft

Like a lot of pitchers the Brewers drafted this year, he’s right-handed, not especially tall, and athletic for a pitcher (he’s quite a good hitter). You can read an interview I did with him here.

Thanks for stopping by, and don’t hesitate to ask if you have questions about any other AZL Brewers.

He's extremely quick and good.

Great stuff. I’m gonna be hanging around asking possibly noob-ish questions because my new project is to learn the Brewers farm system.

It’s sort of tough to ask questions of the HS draftees, at least for me. When I interviewed Giants RHP Tim Alderson earlier in the year all I saw out there were comments on his pitching from the stretch at all times and I wanted to get something more than that. He ended up being a good interview. We talked about raisin bran and the political climate of Cuba. Off the record, of course.
