Not the first injury for this thumb; last time he needed surgery. Rotoworld thinks he could be DL-bound.

If so, Durham will see more time, and perhaps Hurricane or the Crabbe-man will join the big club.

I can see

Mr. Dillon making a return to the big league club as well. He might make more sense for the team before the 40-man roster call-ups.

What about escobar?

or is this just me being way too anxious to see him. I suppose they wouldn’t move him to second mid-season, but i believe the indians did this with asdrubal cabrera last year

Escobar almost certainly will never play second base

It’s fun to think about, but there is as good a chance of them calling up Carlos George to play second.

And neck size to baby eating ratio.

About having Durham:

“It’s called depth,” Brewers manager Ned Yost said.

Thanks, Ned.

And, suddenly, every ground ball to the right side of the infield is an adventure.

It wasn't with Weeks?????

The Bambi's Bombers won because they played the game like kids! Let's do that again!!!

You know it is fun to rip on Weeks defense but he was playing much better defensively this year

Check out his RZR, very middle of the pack, and that is almost certainly lowered by the shift we play so often (see all the talk about JJ’s RZR here). Durham’s RZR last year was lower and he is even lower than that this year. If Weeks heads to the DL that will hurt the team.
