Poor guy.

The Houston heat must be getting too him.

And neck size to baby eating ratio.

sigh

Poor Coop didn’t even check the pitching match up’s heading into this thing did he?

by Lavender on Aug 17, 2008 11:49 PM CDT   0 recs

Actually, he did.

Hmm

I wonder if he misheard the reporter saying, “The Brewers could sweep the Astros, no?” :) I’d be surprised if the Brewers don’t take 2 of 3.

I like the “Tidbits” section:

Cooper said he is done predicting scores for games following his incorrect assumption of Saturday’s final score. Cooper had told Drayton McLane that Backe would go seven innings while giving up one run, and that the Astros would score four by the time he came out. Instead, the Astros were down 7-1 in the fifth, and 11-1 in the top of the seventh.

Who does Coop think he is, a Cubs fan?

by Getting Yosted on Aug 18, 2008 12:32 PM CDT   0 recs

What's he supposed to say? We're going to lose.

Besides, they did sweep one series this year.

think hard

There are dozens of other ways to answer.
