Wait a second...

how long has that “Brew Crew Ball is made with whole grains and contains bits of real grit…” been at the left of the home page (and right of this one)? I have never noticed it before.

I loke it though. Kudos to whoever put it there (Jeff? Kow?).

Also, I like it.

Sometimes I even luke it, depending on my mood that day.

Jason Kendall says:
“In my mind, we’ve got five aces and an unbelievable bullpen.”

Let’s see theres CC, Benny, and….uhmmm….Parra could be for, like, the Nationals or something….waiiitttt…...Suppan? Come on Jason. Is Ned Yost getting to your head? Have your eyes been obfuscated by the cloud of grit that follows you?

I mean, seriously?
A liitle biased?

Apparently I am too stupid to know how to link things.

Its the dragged out (but still nice to think about) story about “brewers follow one ace with another” on the mlb page. If you really want to look at it.

You click the little chain-link thingy and paste the URL in the box that pops up after you highlight the text to link

like this

If you really want to, you can spell out the ‘a href=linkurl’ code if you know how.

I'd like to see the pitching staff's reaction

If Kendall said, “You know, beyond CC and Sheets and Parra on a good day, it’s a crapshoot out there.” He’s not going to dump on guys because that won’t achieve anything positive.

I'm not saying to rip on them.

But he could say they have two aces (three on some other teams), and they have some real good pitchers after them. I mean, I think that would make the pitchers feel more self confident about themselves than to call them aces when they obviously aren’t, and I am sure they know they’re not. I’m sure that in relation to this article they are thinking it is just standard talk, as opposed to “they’re real good pitchers behind those two” which isn’t quite exaggerating it out of proportion.

Except Suppan. Bring up Gamel to pitch.

Holy Scarpetta battlekow!

Cody with a Rich Harden-like 5 IP, 10 Ks, 2 hits, before being pulled from the BRRROK game.

Featured Poll

Poll
Who is the Brewers' top prospect?
  • Brett Lawrie - Cana-DUH!
  • Mat Gamel - A great pure hitter who could potentially play a position of need.
  • Alcides Escobar - The Brewers sorely need his defensive wizardry and contact-hitting approach. He also solves the 3B hole by shifting J.J. over.
  • Jonathan Lucroy - The best catching prospect in the system by virtue of the fact that he can actually catch. His hitting numbers at Brevard are very good on the face of it, but even better after accounting for Space Coast Stadium.
  • Angel Salome - He's leading a Huntsville team that's loaded with prospects in all three slash stats, and he has the tools to be a good defensive catcher.
  • Jeremy Jeffress - The only real pitching prospect in a sea of hitters, Jeffress could potentially ease the pain of losing two aces by blossoming into one himself.
  • Carlos George - Hey, Derek Jeter can't play defense either.
