Hey
Carlos George with an errorless day. I wonder if Brevard County will be the minor league stop where J.R. Hopf gets past the 47 AB barrier this year. He like a prospect waiting to fill Marcus Hanel’s shoes.

Round Rock
Another team to fall into the claws of the Crabbe Man!

"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

Great pitching day for some guys you probably don't think about much
Greg Miller had by far his best game since being taken in the 10th round in June, with 4/0/1 K/BB/H in 2 IP. Believe it or not, it’s just his second scoreless appearance of the year. 19th-rounder Blake Billings has had quite a nice beginning to his career; tonight’s walk was actually his first of the year, and his K/BB is now 15/1 in 12 innings, certainly heartening to see from a high school pick. Billings has also been getting a ton of ground balls.
Also nice to see another stuff-y line from Amaury Rivas, who’s put up an 11/2 K/BB in his last 10 innings, after registered only a 5/8 K/BB in his first 15 innings at Brevard.
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"

Hefty Lefty!
At this point, it’d be a shock if Nelson doesn’t get a September call.
As for Brae Wright, not sure where things went wrong for him. Went 7IP but got lit up.
