Off day?
how will I ever waste my time today?

Reds fan for the day.
I guess with the day off I will have to just become a Reds fan for the day and root against the Cubs.
Also, I’d like to congratulate Brewer fans. I recently went to Yankee Stadium and the Yanks won handily. By the seventh inning more than half the fans had left – something you don’t see much in Milwaukee despite the score. Amazing how good your fans look when you get half of major league baseball’s national media coverage.

Shirt tuckage
Noticed this post on GasLampBall (Padres) regarding the Cardinal Cheerleaders from two years ago
“Oh, and notice how the girls don’t have their shirts tucked into their jeans!”

So, there’s a tradition of either Cards fans noticing the shirt tuckage thing, or they were beginning to talk about Mike Cameron (in his first year with the padres) in San Diego.

It will be intresting to see if that "tradition" sticks with the Brewers
What I mean is will we be seeing them untuck their shirts 4 or 5 years down the road when Cameron is no more than a memory hell if they do not pick up Cams option for next year(cool 10 mil to go along with Kendal’s 4 mil) will they still do it next season.
I personally like it and like the reason they do it Milwaukee is still a blue collar town(not as blue collar as it once was) and I have no problem with the untucked shirt representing us.

Considering that they were doing it last year, I think that they will still do it next year. The tradition didn’t start with Cam.

I'm sure it's around here somewhere
But the official word is that it started with Cameron, IIRC.

From what I remember hearing Cameron did it in San Diego
But the offical FSN-WI line has been that Cameron started doing it here this year and then the other two outfielders joined in and it grew from there. But what do I know I can only go by what the teams network tells me
I do not remember one case of them doing it last year as a preconceived action or the Cards fans would have been bitching about it last year since the worst crime you can commit is to untuck your shirt according to their world view.

Tee hee
Q: Glenn of Phillips – What’s the deal with the Brewers pulling out their shirts after a win? Who started this trend?
A: Brewers Mailbag – The team explination for this is when a working man gets off of work, what is the first thing he does? Untucks his shirt. That is their explination, not mine. Now, can we PLEASE, FINALLY stop asking about this? PLEASE!
