Gamel
Looks like the cubs do not want Gamel in the majors this year. They paid a hurricane to stop him.

Hurricane-paying bastards
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

What a game.
Another good start for Bobby Bramhall, and an encouraging one from Dan Merklinger, the Brewers’ 6th-round pick last year. He’s a little old for the Sally League, but he has a great K rate for a lefty.
Brent Brewer just keeps going up, too. I’m thinking I’ll update the prospect list for the next off-day, Thursday.

It was called on account of "wet grounds"
Wet from the tears of the innocent children whose eyes will never be able to view baseball in a romantic light again.

That line is almost poetic. I smell sig-worthy.
"He's been very, very impressive," Yost said. "I mean really impressive. I mean really, really impressive."

Caleb Gindl
He was named BA’s Sally League Prospect of the Day:
West Virginia (Brewers) right fielder Caleb Gindl went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in a 4-1 win over Lexington (Astros). Gindl is riding an 11-game hitting streak that includes seven multi-hit games, and his advanced bat has helped him hit .345/.416/.545 since the all-star break, putting his line for the year at .306/.386/.478.
