Michael Garciaparra
I forgot he was even in the system. It looks like he’s been hot the past few games.
His data doesn’t come up over at Minor League Splits when you click on his name. Mel Stocker’s numbers don’t display either.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing with Kila Kaaihue yesterday
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
Looks like it's dying while..
the script is trying to pull the annual and career totals. All the split data is there in the page HTML.
thanks guys
should all be working now. (At least stocker, garciaparra, and kaaihue are.)
if anybody cares, the problem was that I was using a 2008-only database to get team affiliations, and all those guys played on a team in the past that no longer exists — for instance, kaaihue played for the wichita wranglers, and they weren’t in that database.
Also, cheese.

Hey, Mel Stocker's page works again
Thanks, Jeff!
PS: it’s fun comparing Stocker’s MLE to Tony Gwynn Jr.’s

The less said about Jeffress' night, the better
Cody Scarpetta’s not listed above for some reason, but he struck out 8 in 3 innings, and now has 55 K’s in 31.3 IP this year.
I love that Arias and Garcia went deep in the same game. Garcia’s homer was off the Royals’ supplemental first-rounder Mike Montgomery. Also nice to see Stosh with a 6/0 K/BB.
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
Gulin has been absolutely ridiculous this year. I am still wondering if any team has tried to trade for him.
