btw, I noticed that you have “contributors” on the bottom of the main page. You should add kirbir for “donation of an extra X chromosome” or something along those lines.

I don’t know what it is about that picture, but it kinda freaks me out too.

Ha
Caveman Wes Helms made a diving play in the Marlins-Mets game and he tumbled over the wall. Who says he can’t play third base?

defense was stellar says Ned
I’m not sure which team he’s talking about.
And now he says that the ball just jumped up on Rickie and Prince.

Yeah. I agree. I assumed he had already given up some runs.

Maybe the "sleeping giant" Villy awakened has narcolepsy...
… and thus falls back asleep at sudden and repeated intervals. If so, Cards fans better hope that some other opposing player acts like he’s enjoying his work, or something equally unfogiveable. Like smile. Or not look slightly ashamed of the fact that they’re kicking the crap out of the redbirds.

Isn't it amazing?
The Pirates are 5-23 against the Cubs and Brewers combined and 46-45 against the rest of the National League. (They’re 6-9 against the AL)
That is how bad the rest of the NL is this season. They have a losing record against the Pirates.

that is pretty bad
unfortunately I don’t think that the Pirates are going to win the NL East or West so the fun is over come October.

the buried lede of those numbers
Holy crap, the Pirates are 21-14 against STL, HOU and CIN. They’re 25-31 against the East and West.

Albert Pujols is postively outraged that the Pirates had the gall to go 7-7 against the Cards

He is also outraged
that they wear those ugly red-orange uniforms, blinding the hitters and causing an unfair advantage, thus disrespecting the game.

They had nothing in any of those fourteen games
They were lucky, he guesses.
