Maybe the "sleeping giant" Villy awakened has narcolepsy...
… and thus falls back asleep at sudden and repeated intervals. If so, Cards fans better hope that some other opposing player acts like he’s enjoying his work, or something equally unfogiveable. Like smile. Or not look slightly ashamed of the fact that they’re kicking the crap out of the redbirds.

The Pirates are 5-23 against the Cubs and Brewers combined and 46-45 against the rest of the National League. (They’re 6-9 against the AL)
That is how bad the rest of the NL is this season. They have a losing record against the Pirates.

Holy crap, the Pirates are 21-14 against STL, HOU and CIN. They’re 25-31 against the East and West.
Albert Pujols is postively outraged that the Pirates had the gall to go 7-7 against the Cards
