So is Garciaparra a legitimate prospect to at least fill a utility player role on the big league bench someday? He seems to be hitting pretty well lately in AA, though he is already 25.
Wait, what?
It's just a hot streak
Check out his K/BB: 24/2. This is his third go-round at AA, too.
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
What about Chris Cody?
He seems to have pitched real well this year. From what I can tell, he was promoted from Brevard County a while back. I assume that he will be in AA next year, with a good chance of moving up to AAA the same year? Do you think he has a chance to be a fourth or fifth starter in the next couple of years?
Wait, what?
I think he's a wait and see guy
from what I know, he’s a pretty soft-tossing lefty, so without the dominating stuff he’s going to have to post great numbers, and he was old for A this year. He’s certainly a guy to watch, though. I never thought we’d win the Jose Capellan trade.
Sat: George 2 (37, missed catch, fielding) Fri: George (35, throw) Tues: George (34, throw)
He and Bobby Bramhall are of a similar mold
It would be nice if one of them had enough stuff to succeed as a bullpen guy, at least. I’m definitely interested to see what they do at AA next year.
BCB's "very own marginally deserving all-star!"
Wily Peralta left the game with a leg injury
Hope it’s nothing serious. I really like him as a prospect.
