Did anyone notice

I didn't even notice there was a game, much less pick out strange coincidences in pitching matchup names

Walked a couple already and gone 3-2 to several others.

So-so

hitting his spots pretty well, backdoor cutter looking filthy against lefties, but still adjusting to the tight zone I think

by Wayfaerer on Aug 31, 2008 1:17 PM CDT up reply actions

Not getting a lot of swings and missed with it yet

So he is going to have to get it in the strike zone.

Jim and Bob are on a mission to get the official score changed, neither thinks it was a hit. I didn’t see it, what’s the opinion around here?

One step closer

to 2 straight days of cheap wings!

There’s a bar in town that does wing discounts the entire next day if the brewers score 6 or more – 20c/ea for 6+ runs, 15c/ea for 10+, 10c/ea for 14+. And I take advantage.

interesting: we’re now only outperforming pythag by 3 wins, and if today’s score stays where it is, that may well go down to 2. It’s like pythag is regressing to win%, rather than the other way around.
