It seems like Gamel has been walking a lot lately.
Does he have that good of plate discipline, or is it just because without Laporta protecting him in the lineup, team are pitching around him more?

I wonder if, in a few years, the Brewers will clear a spot on the 40 man roster to make J.R. Hopf a September call-up for being a good organizational catcher/coach and bouncing around from level to level so much without really playing. Then again, maybe he’s just training to take over Marcus Hanel’s job.
