Do we see a pattern here?
Not so long ago, the Brewers were swept by the hated Cubs in 4 games. None were close.
A couple weeks later, it was thw Mets turn for a sweep. The Crew had a chance in the second game, but couldn't salvage one game.
Now the Phillies have swept the Brewers, who had an outside chance in the third contest, but could get no relief,
We've played three of the four most likely playoff opponents and been stomped on..
How can we break the pattern? Its time to try anything. Let's pull tomorrow's lineup out of a hat. Let's let one of the coaches make all the managerial decisions one day. How about starting 3 or 4 of the minor leagers we called up. Its not too late to replace Suppan with McClung or Villaneuva in the rotation. Or 6 guys all start to hit like hell - and 4 starters pitch like the same - along with 3 releivers

Or...
We could fire Ned Yost. I didn’t see this sprt of a break in the pattern of this magnitude when I did this post about 90 minutes before the firing was announced,
OK, let’s start a winnings streak. I’m predicting 9 and 3 and a trip to the playoffs (4 and 2 against the Cubs and 5 and 1 against the rest).

Now that Yost is gone
Perhaps we’ll see some of this mysterious “Rivera” fellow rumored to be lurking among the Brewers players.
C. Magruder scored, R. Weeks to second on balk
