Game Thread #PS minus 3: Cubs at Brewers

Chicago Cubs @ Milwaukee Brewers

We're still tied for the wildcard, and both the Mets and Brewers are one game behind the Phillies.  Here's the situation this evening:

The lineup is the Sveum-era vRHP usual, and Hardy is in there. It'll be interesting to see which Cubs regulars are starting, and how long they last.

Go Brewers!

Jeez, Jeff

At the moment, it’s not raining outside my window

You know, everything doesn’t have to be about you.

yeah, yeah

but it IS a pretty good indication of whether it’s raining at Shea.

and remember, I can only blog from my mother’s basement, so the available perspectives I have to work with are limited.

Also, cheese.

Awesome

Hardy has a tweaked thumb and Durham has a strained hamstring. We just need Prince to have a dinged up shoulder and Craig to have a sore knee and we’ll be set!

by battlekow on Sep 26, 2008 4:48 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I honestly have no idea.

DeRosa definately will be out, because of his injury in the Mets series. Soto still has hand swelling, I think. Theriot should definately play, because Cedeno got hurt in the Mets series as well. Beyond that, it’s like casting bones figuring out what Piniella is thinking.

Favorable sequence of events

Rain delays at least one Mets games until Monday, and a playoff can’t happen until Tuesday at the earliest. That would be Yovani’s fifth day.

Sat: George 2 (37, missed catch, fielding) Fri: George (35, throw) Tues: George (34, throw)
