Rockies fan here to support ya
And so, since I do not have a team in this postseason, I'll take the Rays from the AL and be a Brewers backer for the NL. (I think we can all agree that absolutely nobody wants the Cubs in there). I am a friendly and oftentimes odd person who means no harm, with a rather dark sense of humor, and should you allow, would be happy to join you for the '08 postseason.

Hey, the more, the merrier
Most people on here weren’t alive the last time the Brewers made the postseason, so we might be turning to you for advice on how to behave. :)

You've got a good start on it already
i.e. freak out. It feels goooood. (Until it ends. That is not so good).

Careful
there are some “old timers” here who remeber ’82 quite well.
The Bambi's Bombers won because they played the game like kids! Let's do that again!!!

Yeah, you'd actually be 28 years.

Welcome!
Since I’ve been over at your part of this blog network before—wondering just how in the world Jorge de la Rosa became a major league-quality starter—you’re definitely welcome to post here.
I didn’t think the Rockies were that bad this year, except for the 800,000 injuries, and those never help.

And Luis Vizcaino
and Matt Herges, and Clint Hurdle, and Manny Corpas turning back into suckville, and Todd Helton declining badly, and Matt Holliday not exactly being Matt Holliday, and poor Tulo being unable to sort his head from a hole in the ground, and Clint Hurdle, and Mark Redman and Kip Wells getting so many starts, and Jeff Francis and Franklin Morales being completely fricking broken, and Clint Hurdle, and Livan Freaking Hernandez, and our fascination with waiver wire failures, and, and…
[takes breath]
Oh yeah, and we’re still pretty stumped on George of the Rose too.

You also have Scotty P!
The Rockies are full of former Brewers. You also had our Jose Capellan, too, right?

is there a "sorry about your pitching staff" greeting card?
You have my sympathies with the Livan Hernandez problem. I live in Minnesota. Every series I attended this year before he was released, I ended up having to see him pitch. Then I went to Denver on vacation…the week the Rockies picked him up. Luckily I got to see the game Aaron Cook pitched instead (for certain values of lucky…I mean, letting Greg Maddux get a hit?)
Hopefully your Ned Yost version will get fired next year. ^^;;;

I was on the Rockies' bandwagon last year
so I’d gladly accept reciprocation. Most of my friends (the ones who care about baseball, anyway) are Rockies fans, so it was a ton of fun to root for the Rox last year at their houses. Always entertaining to see them come up with silent victory celebrations to avoid waking their sleeping children. Good times.

Cheers!
I liked what the Rockies put together last year. Made it exciting to watch every pitch. Hope we can do just as well. Got a lot of fire in the team right now, and I don’t speak for everyone when I say this, but seeing this team making the playoffs and the fans erupting, just about Hallmarks this season as one I’ll never forget as a fan.
So, Welcome + Cheers, can never have too many fans!

Well guys...
Still very happy for ya, and I’m watching game highlights and looking at photos for the Crew, but I have to say, I’m having some awful withdrawals for this time last year, when it was us opening up at Citizens Bank Bandbox against Hamels. Hope you get the same result we did against the Silly Phillies (i.e. everyone figured they’d win in four, we swept ’em). Tis bittersweet. Might have to re-watch our tiebreaker.

Anyone else kind of want Matt Holliday to run out of the stands in the middle of the game
and stomp on home plate?

That would be awesome.
Completely out of the blue, of course, but that would be what makes it awesome.

Only if he threw a smoke bomb at the last second so no one was ever sure whether he really touched the plate or not

More love from a Rockies fan
I’ve been over here before, since I live in Nashville and go to a lot of Sounds games, so I already have a fleeting interest in the Brew Crew. The Rockies are my team, but I can’t think of a better team to root for with us out of it.

Yes, they could be
I kept seeing Huntsville atop the Southern League standings and figured that the Brewers would send some of those guys up a level, but it didn’t happen until the very end of the season when they finally brought up Gamel. The bad news is that I’m graduating from Vanderbilt in May and may not be around to see a lot of it, depending on what my job situation is like.
Greer Stadium… yeesh. That place is in severe need of an upgrade, but the Metro government apparently thinks it has better things to spend its money on.
