Who has options left?

A poster at Minor League Ball is trying to put together a list of who does and does not have options remaining on each team. I made the list for the Brewers and figured I'd repost it over here. Let me know if I screwed up on anyone.

Out of options:
Tony Gwynn
Hernan Iribarren
Corey Hart
Seth McClung
Brad Nelson
Laynce Nix
Mike Rivera
Rickie Weeks

One option:
Dave Bush
Joe Dillon
Manny Parra
Luis Pena
Vinny Rottino
Carlos Villanueva

Two options:
Mark DiFelice
Tim Dillard
Alcides Escobar
Prince Fielder
Lou Palmisano
Mitch Stetter

Three options:
Ryan Braun
Yovani Gallardo
Mat Gamel
J.J. Hardy
Angel Salome

I didn't include anyone with 5+ years service time, because those players can refuse options, though some (like Chris Capuano) have one or more left.

That’s interesting (though not entirely surprising) that Gwynn is out of options, considering he doesn’t have a whole lot of major league service time. Off topic, but it’s one of the reasons why I think the Brewers deal him this winter, as they don’t appear to think he has a future with the MLB and some others seem to think the opposite.

Luis Pena

He was added to the 40-man roster on November 17, 2004 and was sent to the minors in 2005. He was then outrighted off the 40-man on October 8, 2005 and wasn’t added again until after last season. This year he was sent down a second time. He was pretty young when they signed him though, so does that mean he’s one of those weird four-option guys? If not, then they’ve used two of three on him.

He doesn’t qualify for the fourth option. You get one of those if you get optioned three times within the first four years of your pro career.

Numbers Question

Well.. jersey numbers!

Well.. jersey numbers!I’ve decided to burn a gift certificate I have and buy a new authentic brewers jersey. But the question is who? I refuse to own any of the big 3 (Hardy/Braun/Fielder) and was thinking of perhaps going with a rising star. That way when no one has any idea who they are, I’d look hip! (Or nerdy).So possibilities for me would be Gamel or Escobar. (I assume they’ll see action with in the next 2 years)
