The weekend

OK, Cubs tomorrow have Marquis v. Cueto. On Sunday, it’s Marshall v. Harang.

I mean, hey, it’s kind of fun to peek over and think about maybe getting real close to ’em, right?

Harang hasn’t been very good lately.

by ol Pete on Sep 5, 2008 10:56 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, his arm is probably jacked

But I saw him at Miller Park in April and he was amazing. Maybe he can recapture the magic one more time before off-season Tommy John surgery?

Maybe???

Morrow has a no-hitter thru 7 v. The Yanx

by Hyatt on Sep 5, 2008 10:53 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I had to look at ESPN and find out who “Morrow” is? Man, Seattle? Too bad it’s not at Yankee Stadium. That’d be a good way to sent the old girl out.

Mat Gamel out there in the celebration pile looked like he had just stepped out of a portal from 1982, albeit the alternate ’82 where they used buttondown jerseys.

Be interesting to see if this gets them back on track

A gritty win if there ever was one

We win in spite of Ned(I just cant quit you Eric) Yost in spite of GAGne and Riskie

I pay almost no attention to the American League. I’m also behind on pretty much the entire draft, outside of the Brewers’ picks.

Reporter asks if there’s a “rule” for what Shouse was supposed to do in that situation in the 11th.

Yost says: “You’re supposed to turn around and get the double play.”

Prick. I kind of love the guy, but he’s a prick.

google: Trenni Kusnierek

Web images don’t do her justice. She’s from Muskego, Wis., and is a classic “Milwaukee” girl in every respect. Hard to explain.

Anyway, I was going for the humor there, and I can tell how it went over.

For what it's worth

The game threat was around 65-70 comments into the 6th or 7th, and it ended at 421.

Yeah, Brewers fans just a little nervous as that thing entered the late frames.

Trenni

has a run at 7am.. And says the Brew Crew plays a solid all around game against, Peavy. I wish she would have put in her 2 cents about the condition of Sheeters groin tho.

I will go with, kibirs link to, cock push ups and start Ben tomorrow.
