As I was saying...
One game about 4-5 years ago,
It was the 9th or 10th, 2 out, bases loaded tie game.
I think Jenkins was up. Belliard was swinging away in the on-deck circle. Never understood why. Rule or idiocy?
I am pro-Rodgers
Gabe Kapler once again the voice of sanity
Now if only he’d quit hoarding the world’s money supply.

Only three relievers left in the 'pen
DiFelice, Dillard, Riske

DiFelice and Mclung will both pitch multiple innings if needed, though.
Wait, what?
I am extraordinarily anti-Suppan. And Gagne. I am anti-gagne, too.
current thread
bk: if you’re going to do a “please” you should alter the records to reflect us +1;)
what’s with the “f” in the game number?
goodnight. maybe see you all online later if the game is still going.
The f is the exasperated alternative to the standard "b"

7
Last one was given up by Gagne on Sept. 1. The team has hit 8 0-2 homers (Braun has 3).

Opponents are hitting .154/.162/.240 against Brewers pitchers on 0-2 this year
Almost exactly league average for that split (99 sOPS+).

Pack
up to 7 in the ESPN Power Rankings

Did he try to squeeze him?
Wait, what?

Annnndddd McClungs done for the season.
Wait, what?

Get Ray a razor?
Perhaps we could quickly shave Ray and he could hit another homer. He’ll be Angel Salom
I bet the Brewers score one in the bottom
But only because the Reds will score another here
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
Ugh, Grolsch
That is a blessing to mankind in disguise.

That signals bed for me.

Torres blew his 7th save yesterday
Now Cordero can do the same, please.

Doesn't need to double-switch or anything
It’s the mindless thing to do.

Kendall
0-5, so let’s let him hit again. Fuck you Yost, fuck you in the face.
We've got uniforms and everything, it's really great!
Consolation
If anyone other than Kendall would have hit that, it would have been gone.

but guys batting 3/10
Are hall of famers… so maybe ned yost is a hall of fame coach?
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
so is Jerry Royster
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
does anyone have a worse win % than 300
for coaches… I am guessing they would need a short tenure
The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.
The most games managed by a manager with a winning percentage below .300
Belongs to Bobby Wallace at 216 games. He was 62-154 for a .287 winning percentage.

Maybe there will be a colossally stupid Ned quote about it
“He was 0-2 tonight and his OBP is .335, so you gotta figure he’ll get a hit there.”

As I said in the last thread just after this one was posted
Is it just me, or have the Brewers had an inordinate number of warning track shots this homestand?
This is getting sick..
I’m going to the game tomorrow, but the way we are playing….
what am I saying.. drinking beer and screwing around sounds much better then work.
Ugh
Once again no ground lost, but come on.

Post-game thread, for those of you who didn’t reflexively shut off all electronics after the game.
