I'm surprised Cain has so much more than Green
Green, 502 PAs at A+
0.291/.387/.447
Cain, 346 PAs at A+, 167 PAs at AA
.275/.354/.439
MLEs to compare them without regard to league, level, park, or luck:
Green:
.221/.322/.333
Cain:
.217/.296/.337
Green is a solid defensive 3B and an excellent defensive 2B. Cain is raw but talented in CF but good in RF. Green is 6 months younger. Green hit for a better average, walked more, and hit more homers and line drives, Cain had more doubles, triples, and stolen bases.
I think it’s close, and I could see how people would vote for LoCain, but I voted for Green and I think it should be quite a bit closer than it is.
Are Cain’s 150 AA PAs influencing people? Green would’ve been at AA if Gamel hadn’t been playing third there all year.
Anyone want to make the case why Cain is looking to be a big winner over Green?

He wasn't my vote
But as we get closer to the point of “say, I don’t know a thing about these guys,” the non-statistics come into play - like the fact that Moustache expects Cain to be ready in the not too distant future post-Cameron.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

Why do you assume that the vote totals represent any kind of indication of the individual voter assessments? That Cain is currently ahead 50-30 doesn’t mean that’s the same margin on the individual level; it could just be that lots more voters have Cain slightly ahead in their personal view than do Green. (Imagine a normal distribution centered on a “true assessment” of 55-45 in favour of Cain, but with a very high peak and low-weight tails.)

Good point, of course
Somewhat like the electoral college situation.
When I wrote the post, though, there was a larger gap— it was like 35-10 at that point.
