In Venezuela: Brendan Katin went 0-for-5 and struck out three times in Zulia's 6-4 win over Caracas, while Hernan Iribarren went 0-for-1 in a pinch hit appearance in Lara's 7-3 loss to Aragua.
At 6-4, Lara still has a half game lead in the round robin portion of the VWL playoffs.
In Puerto Rico: Charlie Fermaint entered the game as a defensive replacement late in Ponce's 6-3 win over Mayaguez. Mike Rivera made a pinch hit appearance but did not actually bat in Santurce's 6-4, 10 inning loss to Arecibo.
With their win, Ponce swept their series with Mayaguez, 4-0, and advances to the PWL Championship. Arecibo leads their series with Santurce 3-1.

not specific to any player or even to the Brewers
but I thought this passage about the Venezuela League from the baseballamerica prospects blog was interesting.
Scouts and player development officials say hitters often see a steady stream of offspeed pitches relative to what they’re used to seeing during the minor league season, giving teams an opportunity to challenge players who need to improve their approach or learn to stay back against breaking balls and changeups.
