I think it is a good signing
Bush really stepped up in the second half when Sheets faltered.
Lets hope he can build on the second half of last year
So starting rotation is Yo Parra Bush Soup and XXXXXX at the moment or should I put XXXXXX in front of Soup?
Let me spell it for you Cub fans O N E H U N D R E D A N D O N E Y E A R S

I’m probably one of the least fond of Bush, but if anything he seems like a guy who gives his everything every start. I don’t know if he “stepped up” or just went out and did his thing. Despite the Yost robotic response that Bush or any other pitcher left pitches up or over the plate, Bush starts don’t look that different to me. Sometimes he gets beat like the proverbial red-headed stepchild and other times he baffles the other team.
The only thing I recall that might contradict that is there was some minor sniping from Bush about having to change his mechanics and/or add a pitch early in the season and after a while didn’t he say that he just went back to his old ways?

The thing I remember
I think I remember that Bush likes to pitch inside, but that he was being coached to pitch outside, and he was getting hammered. After going back to his inside-out approach he had more success. Does that sound familiar to anyone else.
Something beautiful to behold on this cold day
