MLB Trade Rumors writes that the Brewers were at one time considering signing Dunn to play RF and moving Hart to center field. I guess that puts a new twist on the Cameron/Cabrera trade talk awhile back. I don't remember anyone mentioning that possibility when the trade was being rumored. It would have added a second left handed threat in the lineup.

too bad

im a big adam dunn fan. adding him to our lineup would be a great boost, plus we’d be adding another lefty. maybe there is still hope of signing this guy, i will take him over ben sheets if i had my pick.

I like the looks of that

but I would flip-flop Fielder and Dunn in the order.

Could Dunn play First Base?

If he could, sign Dunn and trade Fielder to Boston for some pitching.

I think Boston is vaguely interested

Of course, as someone (ol Pete?) here mentioned, if you’re Boston, why not just pick up Dunn and not lose any pitching.

"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

On the other hand,

that wouldn’t help the dearth of LH hitters in the lineup.

It wouldn't hurt it either, though.

I think Dunn bats lefty as well.

…Dunn? In Right?

If the move was to do that and then to move Braun to right (or Center) and Dunn to left, Ok, great. Or to trade Prince and put Dunn at first, great. But Dunn in right? And Hart in center? I couldn’t hate that more.
