Nine Brewers (Including Gallardo) named to WBC Provisional Rosters
So Gallardo does appear on the just-announced preliminary roster for Team Mexico. Note that these are not official rosters yet, just preliminary, so there's still a possibility he drops out.
Here are the rest of the Brewers set to appear:
Team USA: Ryan Braun
Team Italy: Mark DiFelice and Vinny Rottino
Team Canada: Brett Lawrie, R.J. Swindle, and Alex Periard
Team Venezuela: Jorge Julio
Team Australia: David Welch
Tom Haudricourt notes that there are 43 players on the US Team's roster right now, and only 28 will play in the Classic, meaning there's a possibility that Braun or any of these players doesn't actually play in the tournament.

Go the Welch!
I guess there’s always the next cricket world cup (in which we will of course dom-in-ate!)

What is DiFelice thinking? (Or Swindle, for that matter?) They’re on the bubble; the time away from spring training probably won’t help them much as the other guys who aren’t in the WBC go and steal their jobs.

Apparently he signed last week and he’s listed on Canada’s roster

Negas is in a class unto-itself, it's really not a "city", more a wonderland of awesomeness.

I wonder why Venezuela didn’t add him to their preliminary roster, considering Canada took Lawrie and Periard
