In Venezuela: The VWL playoffs open tonight with Caracas (Jorge Julio) hosting La Guaira (Luis Pena), and Aragua hosting Lara (Alcides Escobar, Hernan Iribarren).
The Dominican and Puerto Rican leagues were off yesterday.
