Arbitration requests released

The first link is for the story on Fielder, who filed for $8 million.

In this link, we discover Corey Hart requested $3.8 million and Rickie Weeks asked for $2.8 million.

The Brewers submitted a $6 million offer for Fielder, $2.7 million for Hart and $2 million for Weeks.

I think that both sides will settle on Fielders’ contract for about 7.25. I do not see Hart getting no 3.8 a year sorry Corey.

Hardy’s 2008 2nd half: .282 w/ 11 HR and a .813 OPS.

I think most teams will take that at a premium defensive position.

I was referring to the poster’s estimation that JJ was, in so many words, a bad player. I’m a big JJ fan. FWIW, JJ could be attacked in a similar fashion as Corey by isolating a 4-6 week performance. Plus he was once an all star…
