Exiting Rumorville: Scott Williamson

Who?  You know, Scott Williamson.  Pitched last in 1997.

Yeah, so we were interested in signing him, and he's going to sign with the Tigers.  Bastards.

I was about to say, ‘I guess if Claude Lemieux can come back to the NHL, why not Scott Williamson?’ but the article said he pitched last season, not 1997. Shame because, not knowing the guy of hand per-say, it’d have made for a fun story.

Give team Coaching Assistant/Digital Media Coordinator and ex-Met Joe Crawford a shot during spring training. He last pitched in 1997.

Unless I have the wrong Scott Williamson, he pitched in the minors as recent as last season.

Either way he’s not a Brewer. If he is a different Williamson, who last pitched in ‘97, then it’s a cool story.

I know, Williamson pitched for Baltimore in 2007

Crawford hasn’t pitched in the majors since 1997 though.

Ah, well in that, I say let’s try and get John Jaha! :)

Or anyone else off of this roster of capable young studs!

I'll always remember Williamson

….from MVP 2004/5. He had a sick sinker in that game….

I remember him from the original Tecmo Bowl

Wait. That was Lawrence Taylor.

"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"

I remember him from Madden 98.

Wait, that was Bill Schroeder.
