Well, finally. If only because if the Brewers sign him, then he obviously can’t sign with St. Louis. (They need something to replace Troy Glaus….)

if he goes to STL

He will fill their token Eckstein position

The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws.

Speaking of irrational hatred....

I don’t know why it is I dislike Eckstein (and Nick Punto, for that matter) but like Counsell. It’s irrational, and has nothing to do with whether or not they’ve played for the Brewers.

See if you can guess where I found this comment

I like Council. He should start at SS. Better defense, about the same batting average.
Presented without comment from me.

Poor spelling, and has a team with a contact shortstop....

The Cubs perhaps? Someone that is not happy with Ryan the Rocket Theriot?

How far will this one fly?

Think sadder

Hint: I clicked the link to the js blog, and then scrolled down. Yes, it is that bad.

Grit

In the absence of starting pitching, we need grit.

Maybe that's the answer

Forget 9 LaPortas - we need 9 Kendalls.
