Taylor Green has wrist surgery, will miss first month of 2009
Apparently he injured it getting hit by a pitch at Brevard County, attempted to play through it, but still had some pain at the Winter Warm-Up last weekend, so team doctors took a look and performed surgery.

Gee. February's a great time to have offseason surgery resulting from a 6 month old injury.
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.

My thought exactly.
I can’t blame Green too much, but maybe these “injuries they’re trying to play through” ought to be followed up a bit more regularly by the team medical staff and not just waited out until it’s either all good again or too late.
