Pickings are getting slim...
I’m not sure anyone over the age of 25 can still be called a prospect. So screw them.
I just sit back and root for the taser

when does komatsu get into the running?
That dude is going to bulldoze the competition. [groan]
Also, cheese.

Anyone want to justify voting for Nelson?
He’s a nice player and all, but I’d take all of those except Brewer and Dillard over him in a ‘prospect’ ranking. I just don’t think Dillard and Nelson are the type of guys that go on a list like this.

I keep voting for Braddock, but
Aguilar/Braddock vs. Nelson/Dillard is a pretty clear “chance to become average MLBer, chance to top out at AAA” vs. “chance to put together career as a reserve, chance to put together career as a reserve.” Ceiling vs. certainty.
Since there are a half-dozen Nelsons (half-nelsons?) out there for a taking every off-season, I’ll go ceiling 9 times out of 10 in debates like this. Especially given the dominance Braddock has flashed.
Also, cheese.

Yeah
And all four of the pitchers have some top-notch potential. Scarpetta had some absurd numbers and good stuff, Periard has been in the mid-nineties with the fastball at times. I voted for Aguilar because I think he’s got the dominating potential and could be in the big leagues this year.

It should be interesting to see
If aguilar holds onto the #13 spot, who his voters transfer to. Based on your ceiling vs. certainty idea, I expect Braddock or Scarpetta to jump ahead of Nelson.

I'll commit to
Braddock, Scarpetta, Periard in that order.

Yeah
I can commit to Scarpetta then Braddock, but after that I might be inclined to vote for the dozer if he makes the list.

that was my thought as well
will be interesting though, as Brewer might get some ‘ceiling’ voters, too.
Also, cheese.

It's suddenly clearly why BP stopped at 11.
I have an unreasonable dislike of Bill Hall.
