We're down to one Division Series matchup left, but they're in action tonight as Cliff Lee and the Phillies take on Ubaldo Jimenez and the Rockies at 5:07 sharp.

Whats the situation with him? Has he already been exposed to the rule 5 draft? Does he need to be added to the 40-man roster this offseason or really soon? It would be pretty nice to have a guy who can play everywhere up on the big league squad. He could be the next Bill Hall, except not overpaid!

Heether would be Rule 5 eligible if not protected.
He also was eligible in 2006, 2007 and 2008, as a player who signed his first contract after age 19 and spent at least four years in the minors.

As a player who’s spent seven seasons in the minors, Heether is eligible for minor league free agency unless added to the 40 man.
