Trade for Greinke
I have suggested for a long time and repeat it again that the Brewers should trade for Greinke. KC could likely use / need Hardy, Weeks, Cameron, Burns and Katin - and the Brewers could afford to trade them and get along fine. If KC wants to also trade Soria then the Brewers should include say Weathers plus one (KC choice) of McClung or Narveson and one of Smith or Axford plus Stern or Rogers / Jones ... (again their choice).
There should also be an attempt to reacquire Sheets. Greinke, Gallardo, Sheets & Capuano (if both healthy and offered incentive contracts), and Parra / Bush would be a great starting staff. Notice that AZ Diamondbacks do not seem to be interested in trading Webb from my recent reading of the AZ Replublic newspaper ("unless overwhelmed" per GM, noting that I'm a AZ & CA resident). Harden or Hudson as backup move if can't get Sheets?
Gamel should get RF / LF experience during Spring training and at AAA before being brought up next year. When Gamel is ready then put Hart in CF with one of Gerut / Bourgeois as backups plus Catalanotta. Accordingly Braun has shown capability in both LF and RF (i.e. in All-Star game). Braddock (supposedly MLB ready) and Scarpetta (best curveball in A) are the Brewers' pitching future - and so should be better featured / exposed to supportive Brewer fans. Protect Heether and retain Lopez. Use mainly Rivera and Salome in Spring Training with Kendall as tutor. Keep Counsell for another year.
Free up money for long-term-retaining of Fielder! Induce Suppan to accordingly retire and do said Cameron trade to free up money?

I think we should get Santa
and Allah
I think a package of Hardy, Gamel, Weeks, Capuano, Bernie Brewer, Chorizo, and Doug Melvin’s moustache should be able to get it done
what do you think guys

santa's stuff has been dipping off of late,
fastball went from 95-94 to 90-91 in the last two years and his curve ball has lost almost all effectiveness.
Allah is said to be untouchable by the Saudi Arabian Jihads so there will be no trade for him.

Not only that, but Allah ir reported to be a "bad clubhouse presence"

I think KC could probably get Cameron if they wanted him badly enough.
Kendall too. Maybe John Lackey. Vlad Guerrero. Matt Holliday. And any other free agents we don’t control.

Oh dear
That package might be able to get, oh, Nick Blackburn if two of the players in it weren’t free agents.
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).

Nothing like a good acid trip to brighten up Brewer pitching!

I'm, like, totally on board with the "induce Suppan to retire" idea.
It seems so obvious!

While we're at it...
maybe we could induce Mark A to have more money

Is this anything like inducing labor?

Let's offer CC a huge contract this offseason
and see if he accepts it.

Roy Halladay
Maybe we could trade Jeremy Jeffress and a dime bag for Roy Halladay while we are at it.
Other trades I would make
Michael Vass (A-OF) for John Lester
John Delany (A-3B) for Joba Chamberlain
Jeff Isom (A – Manager) for CC Sabathia
Rafael Lluberes (High A – RP) for Dustin Pedroia
Corey Hart (High A – Hitting Coach) for Carl Crawford – after he signs a new contract for $1M/year
Jim Henderson (AA – P) for Tommy Hanson
and finally…
Freddy Parejo (AA – OF) for Chris Carpenter, Adam Wainwright and Albert Pujos (and move Albert to 3B)
I realize that these trades would deplete the farm system, but I would still make them.

Woah woah woah
Lluberes for Pedroia is absurd. WAAAAAYYY too much to give up.

I got to halfway through the second paragraph and just assumed this thread was bumped from last year at about this time.
