Weak swings and weak contact against Pedro in the first.
Who knows how long he’ll be in there, but I bet on the Phillies today because I don’t expect Pedro to be ineffective in the playoffs.

The Brewers aren’t the only team who uses the ribbon board to tell their fans to wave their towels. I was so embarrassed last September when the MP ribbon board said “WAVE THE TOWEL!” Oh, is that why you gave them out? So seeing the Dodgers do the same makes me feel slightly better about it.

I think almost every ballpark has that these days
in the form of directions to “make some noise!” etc. I’ve seen it in Colorado and Minnesota. I don’t recall seeing it in Detroit. Mostly what gets flashed there are horrible player name-based puns.

I don’t hate the Yankees.
BTW, I also hate bad baserunning. I’d trust Alex Rodriguez over Nick Punto on when to run through a stop sign, but this wasn’t the night to do it.
I hate bad fielding
so I hope nobody leaves a ball on top of the bullpen wall like in every other Yankees home game I’ve watched this year.
