Jason Kendall is not going to resign with the Brewers :(
Instead, his grit has been challenged and will train non-stop to get the title of the most grittiest person (and wife) ever.

Because if we didn't, you'd have no one to mock?
Personally, I don't give a crap about Brett Favre.

Excellent
Mind you, I don’t think the wife needs to be particularly “gritty” just to be carried around an obstacle course by her husband.
Actually, looking at the photo gives me an idea. Perhaps the sausage races could be enlivened by the inclusion of the “grit sausage” with a bright yellow lycra-clad Kendall carrying Counsell around. Of course, as in the photo, Counsell would have to suffer the indignity of having “WIFE” written in big letters down his right arm…

Are we talking Fireman shoulder carry or Rhett Butler/Scarlett Ohara carry?
Personally, if we’re going to let him carry someone little like Counsell, I think we should require a Loyd Dobler/In Your Eyes technique where Kendall lifts Counsell up over his head and locks out his arms. We could even play the song for him… “the light, the heat, I am complete…”

He will be back
I think that Kendall will be back as the Brewers catcher. He will be splitting more time with Rivera in the 2010 season or Angel Salome, whom ever wins the job in spring training.
