Ok, I'll ask
And my apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but what is up with all the links being underlined on the frontpage? It really distracts the eye.

I've sent a note to support.
The tech team is having a rough week. Should be fixed soon.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.

It's kinda like old school internet, when every link everywhere was underlined, so people knew where they were.

Just tuned in
is Robinson Cano wearing the Balaclava again tonight. Or did someone let him know he looked like a huge pansy wearing a Balaclava in 40 degree weather?
"I think this decision could go either way," Baseball Tonight legal analyst John Kruk said.

the radio spectrum hates me
690 AM here in Minneapolis is carrying all the LCS games. Due to the usual suspects this time of year enabling much good DXing, I was unable to get the game tonight in my car and instead was getting a Radio-Canada station out of Saskatchewan.
It’s a good thing the game is still on and tied.

Wait, what?
Does anybody else think that elimination of the double play in the bottom of the 10th was an insane call?
I’ve never seen an ump decide to buck the unwritten “as long as he’s around second base” rule when the fielder’s feet were right next to second. Given the timing of it, that’s an incredibly suspect call in my book.

yet another data point in the bad umpiring list for '09
it’s a good thing that the Angels managed to prevent scoring, imagine how bad it would have been if it had actually affected the score

sucks for the fan who dropped it, though

scream at me if this sounds stupid but
wouldn’t an intentional walk be a good time to steal a base?

As long as the player isn't stealing second.
Though I am sure that it is one of those baseball sacred unwritten sportmanlike conduct rules that you just don’t do it. Like when A-Rod yelled at the fielder on a popup and the fielder dropped it a year or two ago.

Maybe 3rd if the batter was right handed and the pitcher was tossing lollipops up there
