Can you name the two members of the 1997 Milwaukee Brewers who appeared in at least one major league game in 2009? The Brewers switched from the AL to the NL after the 1997 season.

The title of this FanShot takes you to the 1997 Brewers page on Baseball-Reference.com.

One of them recently killed the Cardinals.

I just went through the list

and I still don’t know who it is. :)

Good one

My intial guess was Ronnie Belliard, but I was a year off.

I knew watching all those bad teams would pay off

That’s the 2009 bad teams, here, not the 1997 ones.

Didn't Ron Villone pitch for somebody?

Reds? Nationals?

Yep, Washington

If you want a bonus challenge, name the six 1999 Brewers who also played in 2009.

Sign Corky Miller

I can get two-thirds of the answer...

Loretta, Belliard, Kevin Barker (who I only remember because it was mentioned when Cincinnati called him up and he’s part of the Brewers 1999 lineup on an old video game of mine) and Dave Weathers. I’m drawing a blank at the others.

That's the one I was missing~

Kevin Barker. I know nothing about him whatsoever.

Reading Fail.

Caused by FtJ’s reply fail.

I’ll take 2/3rds of the blame for that.

I think I got the other 2

Robinson Cancel — Can’t forget his resurgence…

and I think Chad Fox played with the Cubs this year?
