P.S.
how many innings does a starter need to pitch in the AFL to earn a win?

No minimum.
This is the first year they’ve done it, but they’re basically operating on the spring training rules for wins, since no one pitches five innings in the AFL.
That's all I've got for you today, unless you're interested in some Chris Capuano/Tom Haudricourt Fan Fiction.
