Around SBN: 2012 Africa Cup Of Nations Final

Most sections went up by a $1 or $2. Club, Bleacher, and Bernie's Terrace prices remained the same. Based on last year's timelin, 9-Pack info should be released in the next week or two.

If you wish to renew your season tickets, you must do so by November 20.

210 this year

The better half already called the club and ordered our 2 Loge infield full season tickets. That’s upgraded from 416 set of 4 season tickets…

I for one can not wait for cup holders again.

that is as good a reason as any

"That's not a weird stat. Rickie is a run-scorer," Yost said. "It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter," Yost told reporters. "See, you guys have no concept. He's a run-scorer. So there's nothing weird about it. That's what he does."

how close are your seats?

I was debating doing that as well, but I wouldn’t buy them til Friday. I’m guessing they’ll be mostly gone by Friday.

Not sure yet

Rep gains access to seat assignments today. So we’ll get our actual seats sometime today.

Buying tickets on Friday

I don’t think you’d be out of luck if you waited until friday. You still have to put up about $2500 for the year for the two seats, so I don’t think people are going to jump at it immediately.

Patiently waiting for ticket rep to call

It's only for 2 sections, and each seat can only be bought once per season.

I think 500 seats at 58% off will sell very quickly

Just talked to my rep

And he said that I was the only other pair of tickets sold in 210. I’m row 6 (first row of that section)

Talked to my rep again

So, I was a little surprised when I saw the bill for my tickets. Turns out the deal is B1G1 at the regular price ($38 per seat). So this deal works out to $19 per ticket. Still a great deal, but about $640 more than I expected.

wow, that blows.

I would have assumed it would be BOGO at the $30 renewal price. LAME. But you’re right, still a great deal.

So I have no idea what you guys are talking about...

I have a 40 Game Outfield Box now and I haven’t renewed yet. Is there a better deal out there?!

Fuck tOSU

Loge Level Double Play

allows you to buy two full season seats in Loge Infield sections 210 or 227 for the price of one – $38 per game ($19 per ticket). Whether that’s a better deal for you, is up to you. :)

You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.

Tempting...

…but 81 games makes no sense, even at that price, given our distance from Milwaukee. The 40 games we buy come close enough to being impractical.

We were thinking of changing our fan’s choice pack in the terrace box to Opening Day Plus so our seats wouldn’t move around anymore; but the email from our ticket rep made it sound like we had to choose between row 2 and row 3. I can see better from rows 6 and 7. I’m not sure why those rows wouldn’t be available to us; they don’t seem to have the same people there every game.

TB 417 has 7 rows

And row 7 is neat in that you can stand up without blocking anyone’s view. And for a short person like me, it’s up high enough so the row 1 people leaning forward in their seats don’t block my view.
One September weeknight in 2002, when we were almost the only fans in TB 417, I checked out the view from many different seats, made a list of seats I could see well from and have used that ever since to identify good seats for our 20 pack.

I think some of the TB sections may have only 6 rows, though.

Wuss

81 games is pretty hard to make period. Hopefully I’ll be a member of the UW system come next year and can take my delicious off days to see day games.

Not to mention

your furlough days. :|
Are you really in the market for a UW System job?
