No one has heard from Ben Sheets or his agent, according to Brewers GM Doug Melvin
USA Today's Bob Nightengame, courtesy of MLBTR. Maybe it's like Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?, and the team that finds him first gets him for 2010 at the league minimum. Do it, Rockapella!

It's not as good as your Carmen San Diego example, but I thought of this Simpsons quote, too:
“We’re going out, Marge! If we don’t come back, avenge our deaths!”
The phone does work both ways.
I must have faulty conceptions of being a GM. Maybe I’m influenced by the Moneyball story of Billy Beane showing up at Scott Hatteberg’s house, but I would probably show up at Ben’s house and try to talk him into playing for the Brewers or something. If I were an MLB GM I probably wouldn’t eat or sleep though I’d be flying everywhere and calling every free agent, agent, and GM.

Wait....does anyone know where looper is right now?
could he be responsible for Sheets’ sudden disappearance?
This makes me worry about signing him.
If he was healthy and ready to play this year, wouldn’t his agent be trying to put his name in every report possible? The laying low strategy seems fishy.

Ben Sheets is always hard to get a hold of in the off-season
because of his rigorous workout schedule.
He is somewhere feeling the burn.

He's feeling the burn, all right
…the burn FTJ delivered with the post above.
You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.
