Got this in the mail today from my Season Ticket Account Exec.
"Tim -
I wanted to thank you for renewing again this year. Your continued support is very important & much appreciated. Keep in touch and let me know if you need anything else.
Go Brewers!
Chris
P.S. If you know anybody else interested in a ticket plan, please let me know."

I got one of those last year when I ordered my 9 pack
I think that guy is everyone’s ticket exec. I’ve talked to him on the phone twice in the past week when I renewed my 9 pack.

The touch of old fashionedness
is sometimes very uplifting
It means so much more to have a handwritten note than an e-mail, text, or phone call.
Although the brewers apparantly dont’ have enough work for him (or his administrative assistant?) to do that he has TIME to hand-pen a note.

That's what I was thinking
Unlike BrewHaHeather, I dont’ remember getting a note last year. So my first instinct was, “Man, ticket renewals must be down…”
It’s still a nice gesture either way.

We've been season ticket customers since 1996...
(1993 if you overlook the 1995 season, which we skipped due to the strike…of course, the Brewers don’t overlook that)
…and we’ve never received a handwritten note like that, not even when we doubled our commitment by adding a second 20 pack a few years back. They’ve otherwise been consistently accommodating, though. We have had the same rep since maybe 2000 or ’01, and he is not Chris.
In 1994, we did get a video invitation encouraging us to please renew. I remember thinking they must have been worried that Yount’s departure would send ticket sales a-plummeting. Bud spoke at the beginning, there were highlights shown in the middle, and at the end they played Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” with persons from all over the organization (players, ushers, concessions workers, etc.) lip-synching along.
It was entertaining and we still have the VHS tape.
You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.
