Brewers All-Time 9
Don't know if this was posted already; but thought it was pretty cool.
Pretty depressing to look at some of the other teams and their history of legendary players...

Wow
That was fun to do, but…Keith Ginter as one of the Brewers’ best second basemen? Painful.
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
Indeed.
Bill Hall or JJ Hardy winning the SS vote would make me chuckle.
Devon White? ick.
It always amazes me that George Scott gets consistently left off of these sort of lists. I am not saying that he was the best 1b we ever had, but a guy who wins 2 legs of the Triple Crown needs to be in the discussion of “best season by a 1b” at the very least. He was a great fielding 1b as well.

Even if he didn't have flashy numbers
They could’ve found a way to get Jim Gantner on there somewhere – his 1983 perhaps.
agreed.
also seems weird not to be able to vote for a pitcher, like most of the other teams. i would probably vote for rick dempsey. just kidding.

Lame.
They ignored the fact that Molitor was primarily a 2B from 78-80, batting over .300 in two of those years. Not to mention his time at 3B, yet they jammed Braun into the 3B position instead of the outfield where he’ll play most of his career. If the choices weren’t locked in to the positions chosen by the code-monkey who created the page and you were simply going by the best seasons at the position, you could have Molitor at 2B, Seitzer or Cirillo at 3rd, Yount at SS, Fielder or Cooper at 1B, Nilson at C, Hamilton in CF and Benji and Braun at the corner outfield spots.
Not as good as the all time lineup other clubs can put up, but not as bad as that poll makes it look.
What begins in fear usually ends in folly.

Ginter over Gantner?
Possible typo/misremembering?

This poll is simply for the best single-season hitting performance at each position.
That being said, the only offensive category where Gantner “loses” to Ginter is HR. Gumby never hit more than 11 HRs in any MLB season.
It would be interesting to figure out how they went about picking the selections for each position.
Gantner was obviously a better defender than a batter
But those ginter numbers were aweful:P Like you said, it probably came down to HRs.
