Your World Series Game 6 Open Thread
Get it while you can: tonight's (possibly) your last chance to get your baseball fix in 2009.
Need more reasons to watch? How 'bout a 38-year-old and a 37-year-old trading off-speed pitches in near-freezing temperatures? Sounds compelling, right?
And here's three more reasons, in my best Joe Buck voice: Ruiz. Gardner. Feliz. ONLY ON FOX.
Have fun, cats and kittens.

Yeah
Now I’m watching this game. Not because it’s a fun game to watch but because I am a fan of baseball. It’s almost negative fun to watch the Yankees do this. It’s like, what’s the point?
E: George 4 (5, throw, throw, throw, throw).
It builds the distaste
It will be that much more fun to watch them lose next year.
Cards Announcers On Gamel's First Career HR, "That’s all they need is another home run hitter".
I'm watching the game
and also Prince’s grand slam game on FSN.

I'm watching this afternoon's second L&O
while cleaning dishes. What, is there a game on?
"I will agree that the attitude [at BCB] is ridiculous and they have done so much to instigate animosity and then block us from responding. Real mature!"
The Diesel?
Not SVU or MIB.
It’s weird: even though it’s been on for 20 years, no one really talks about it. Though not as good as in its prime, it’s still a great show.

She was OK
But they had so many good assistant DAs since her, both in terms of interesting characters and nice to look at.

Do the Yankees really have to win?

Fresh Prince was from Philadelphia
West Philadelphia to be exact. That’s good.

Never had I seen, before tonight,
any baseball score on the “out of town” scoreboard at the Kohl Center during UW basketball. November baseball, bah.
You've got a couple screws missin' up in your toolbox, if you think that you'll stop this man from hittin' moonshots.
Finally!
I assume Grienke is in mid-flight as we speak.

For the morbidly curious
The 2010 salary of the Yankees’ top 3 players is roughly the same as the entire Brewers’ 2010 payroll (~$80 million).

For the even more morbidly curious
The 2010 salary of the Brewers’ top player is roughly the same as the entire Jeff Suppan 2010 salary.
Ryan Braun: He loves it.

Sick and Wrong.
Of course, I’m referring to the fact that the ads on “BrewCrewBall.com” are for the Capitol One card. You can customize the card with your favorite team’s logo…they just happened to be advertising the St. Louis Cardinals logo…on this site.
Congrats to New York
If you spend 2 billion dollars on payroll, you probably ought to win a title at least once in the decade.
